How to use the Word invoice template
Download the .docx file, open it in Word (2010 or later, or Word Online), and replace the placeholder text with your business name, your client's details, and an invoice number. Add one row per product or service, multiply quantity by rate for each amount, then sum the column into the total — double-check this part, because a mistyped total is the fastest way to delay a payment.
Save a copy under a new name each time you invoice (for example INV-0007.docx) so your numbering stays sequential, then export to PDF before sending — a PDF can't be edited by the recipient and renders identically everywhere.
